Discovering New Horizons for Cooperation
This twinning is an initiative that is part of the strategy of the ICC Greece-Romania Intercountry Committee. It is based on the desire of the two clubs to transcend geographical borders and create a new relationship based on cultural exchange and solidarity.
The objectives of the Twin Club agreement are:
- To highlight the cultural diversity of the two regions as a means of mutual enrichment for members.
- To undertake joint humanitarian actions that will respond to the specific needs of local communities in Komotini and Piatra Neamț.
- To build a new, stable friendship that will bring Rotarians in Greece and Romania closer together.
This collaboration symbolises Rotary’s power to unite different worlds. Komotini and Piatra Neamț are embarking on a joint journey today. What unites them is a shared vision of social contribution and a willingness to learn from each other, turning their differences into an advantage for cooperation.
Through this new journey, the two clubs are committed to proving that Rotary service knows no borders and that friendship can flourish wherever there is a willingness to serve humanity.
